Nitom2 TM facebows come in several inner bow sizes with two lengths of outer bow: regular and short.
The catch is spring loaded and unlocked by squeezing the catch and inner bow together. In the pictures above one catch is unlocked, the other locked.
The correct size of facebow can be chosen with the aid of the patient's upper study model for fixed appliance upper first molar bands. The inner bow can be contracted or expanded to position the ends of the inner bow next to the upper first molars. When used with a removable or functional appliance the technician can select, adjust and fit the correct size of facebow.
