THE HABIT CONTROL SPIKE Creates a small spike, which is helpful in reducing tongue thrusting or thumb sucking.
We recommend the use of 'Solar Light Cure Adhesive for the best results with the Wire Bonder (9000-900).
HABIT CONTROL
* Etch and prime the tooth as you would for bonding brackets.
* Insert the tip into the handle and fill with Mini Mold Light Cure Resin.
* With light pressure, place and hold the tip on the lingual of the first tooth requiring the spike.
* Cure with curing light (5 to 20 seconds depending on the light intensity and material) and remove tip by slowly pulling straight back.
* Refill the tip and follow same procedure for each tooth requiring a habit controlled spike.
