TASK Orthodontic Instruments
TASK, INC. was established in 1968 in Tokyo, Japan. Specialising
in dental instruments including orthodontic, surgical, and laboratory
they now export products to over 30 countries worldwide.
All Task pliers are made from high grade stainless steel.
All cutting and inserted pliers have super hardened tool steel
inserts for long life and sharpness. All instruments carry a two year
guarantee, but any Task product that fails as a result of a defect in
materials or poor workmanship will either be repaired or replaced
at no charge.
Task pliers can be autoclaved on a repeated basis, although we
strongly recommend that the correct sterilisation procedure be
followed to ensure long life. If blunting of cutters occurs due to
repeated long term sterilisation, all cutters may be returned to the
factory to be re-tipped at a modest cost (usually about one third
of the cost of a new cutter).

Distal End Safety Cutter Flush-cut
(See actual size picture right) Effective for rectangular wires
up to .022 x .028, round wires up to .020, and braided
wires up to .021 x .025. Unique design ensures clean,
effective cutting of multistrand archwire flush with distal
end of buccal tubes. The cut wire is held by replaceable,
autoclavable holding rings.
